Either you are living in some other dimension, or you seriously misunderstand other people's posts. You haven't been insulted.

I believe that would be the decision that benefits you most. Good luck with any other games that you play.

This is nothing more then a shameless thread to improve post-count, he can't articulate, refuses to explain anything, and considers every arguement not in his favor to be an attack. If he wants to leave, good ridence, he disgraces his fellow RPers. I hope this thread gets locked soon.

Amen.

To the OP: If you want people to listen to your ideas, first think of a good idea, that doesn't radicaly change the game and isin't impossible to impliment without doing so. Know what your idea is. Explain your idea so that others can understand it.

Most importantly, if you want mounts go play World of Warcraft. You get mounts there after you've spent a riduclous amount of time grinding to level 40 and level 60. The last thing I personaly want is for GW to become WoW. If such a thing happened I would quit GW as if I wanted to be playing WoW I'd be playing WoW, not GW. Please note this paragraph is the only such one in this entire thread(so far) that can be remotely construed as an "attack" on you.

RPG may have come from Role Playing games, but in reality just about any game is role playing as something your not, and RPG is the generic term for games which involve level and power gain.

I would like to see more diverse content too, but we already have hardcore PvE areas, Sorrows Furnace is one, Temple of Ages is another. The only thing battle island did is bring all the end game arenas into one location which will most likely be accessible in all expansions, aside from small additions.

False claims of absense to promote your interest in content you want in particular is immature, truthfully. And the fact that you would leave a good game just because some other players don't agree with your interests just proves Anet isn't loosing a dedicated customer.

I left FFXI because they were cheap on the CoP expansion and ignore/overlook continuous support for a more functional game, not because it didn't have stuff we wanted, but because the current combat system was weak and unbalanced. I'm leaving FFXI because they are about 2 years behind the improvements neccessary to address significant flaws, and it will likely never be completely functional. Guild Wars may be lacking a few additions, but it has a expansion model which allows for regular and vast improvement and addition, aside from the fact that they have already and continuously ensure that it is functionally balanced. Pretending to pass off GW just because they haven't provided an "addition" you would enjoy.... Yet, is simply weak on your part. The game works fine, and there is enjoyable content for PvP and PvE, your just being a greedy child.

Just because nobody here agrees with you, doesn't mean that a good activity you enjoy woln't be considered and added, and just because your going to leave, doesn't mean that Anet will bend over for an apparent minority of shallow behaving players.

See that is your views, GW was a rpg in in first place. I was more or less thinking about a place where these ideas were first thrown can still have a place. This not a debate over if gw is a rpg or not. I am saying there is alot of people who want these things. People are still going to keep asking for it. I am not too worry too as well because anet has to go that route any way. If they don't people would only get bored with the game. So in the long run anet is going to have to have strong rpg content if it wants to stay afloat. people can fight and kick as much as they want, but it alll comes down to what is going to make the game stay. As for chaning the game it is not. If anet doesnot change it will slowly fall in sales. Games like wow will only eat up the market. GW already has a bad rep among rpg players, so it is going in as a under dog.

I think that anet has side track alot from what they had promised this game would be. I really don't need to post on this topic because people will only keeping asking for what they want.

Lastly I am in no mood to fight debate on a topic. I can stand on my own to two feet and bring facts. I am known to have bring solid facts to the table. I just choose not because this has been debated 1000 times. Any time anything comes up about rpg. There are people fighting agisnt it. I would like to remind people this is an rpg game. Anet did say they will focus on what is fun about rpg.

also if you have a problem with my grammer then don't try reading it.

I see GW being what it was from the start. Changes have been made to improve and balance the game, but it is still the same game as the day I purchased it.

Putting ideas here is fine. Whining and throwing fits just because someone doesn't agree with you will earn you no respect.

I will repeat what others have said, and I mean no disrepect to you by saying this. It sounds like GW is not the game for you.

why is there a petition about rpg? when anet promised they would have focused on what is fun about rpg. It says alot about the views about rpg players

Hahaha.

Hahahaha.

So if you're not prepared to make your posts legible, why should we bother to read them in the first place--and thereby give a shit what you have to say?

I quoted you. I don't know how much more on-topic you can get.

I'm not trying to bother you, I'm asking a legitimate question. Why should we listen to you if you don't care enough about your message to make it legible?

That was a well thought out and well written pettition. Why didn't you just sign it and move on rather than start another thread?

Alright people, as has become more obvious to me recently this forum needs a bit more organization. It's becoming very difficult and quite a hassle to keep ideas organized. Things such as repeat threads, threads with titles that have nothing to do with the suggestions, multiple suggestions in one thread---these sorts of things make it difficult for both moderators and the community to keep track of ideas that've been suggested here. Because of this, here are the new guidelines we'd like everyone to keep in mind and follow.

Always use the search button before posting a new thread to see if your ideas been suggested before.Always check the stickied Index of Ideas to see if your idea can be found in there.
If your idea is a slight change of another suggestion that's already been suggested, don't post a new thread on it, post it in the existing thread and continue the discussion over the general idea.
Make sure your thread titles list your idea. Don't post threads with vague titles like "Greatest Suggestion Yet" when only in your post do you discuss your suggestion. Make sure your thread title states your idea, to keep things organized and less confusing.
Do not post "A Few Ideas" threads. If you have more than one idea ---first double check with the search button and the index thread to make sure they're fresh suggestions, and create a seperate thread for each one with a relevant title.
If you don't feel like creating a seperate thread for each suggestion you have, post all of them in the Index of Ideas thread stickied at the top of the forum.
Of course, keep this to suggestions only. Not builds, not rants or PvP vs PvE discussions, etc. This is the suggestions forum.
Use the Search Button and check the Index thread to make sure you're not repeating an idea.
Do it again.

There they are, stick to them so this forum can be kept as organized and straight forward as possible. Not only to make it easier for us as a community, but also easier for devs to read and respond.

A place where the ideas where that were throwen out can be, with out pvp affecting it. have it so it is locked off from the other gaming aeras. I am talking about having the 3 different gaming styles in the game.

Free speech doesn't apply on a privately owned forum.

Could you post some of these facts in this thread ? I've read a lot of your posts on a different forum, but they dont contain facts. They do contain a lot of speculation, most of which I believe is unfounded. However, if there is anything of value I may have missed, I'd like to see your points brought forth in this thread.

Please, give me solid evidence that Anet has done nothing to focus on the rpg aspect of the game. I mean, SF doesn't count right? Neither does Tombs? Or how about that huge map called "Cantha?" Thats all PvP?
